With the summer normally being the quietest period of the year, its been one of the most active over the last 3 years, Plenty Of nightcups, zP! summercup and few esl officials.

The last few attempts at making Any sort of video showcasing any sort of frags, did not come to pass, seeying as there was quite a lot of offcials, games and nightcups,

Seeying as this was as stated above a very active past months, a frag movie will be made to showcase exactly whats happened in the uk scene, and as stated above "highlights of the summer"

EMS VI DoD:S: Relegation and Playoffs
The Groupstage is over, read on about the teams that advance to the next level in this competition!
Within the rankings we can see that some teams tie each other out by beating just each other, that is why some explanation is needed to figure out who is ranked on which position. First of all: every winner of each group is going right through to the playoffs, there is in no group doubt about the 1st place.

In group A three teams have the equal amount of points and could beat each other, although that fact the case is clear: Clan-Germany is placed 2nd because of their score difference - they could win three maps instead of two compared to the others. As HellraiseR! could beat Da Roxor United in direct comparison the Spanish team is ranked on #3 and advances to the relegation mode.

Within group D no written rule applies to the ranks of number 2, 3 and 4 - they are still equal after everything. As solution we agreed after a lot of discussion within the admin staff that we consider the made fullcaps during the groupstage to give the ranking another detail, so the final ranks are:

clutchmasterz with +14 fullcaps
pod virtual gaming with +04 fullcaps
casca with -06 fullcaps
SexyGamers with -12 fullcaps

The relegation is scheduled for the week 24th May until 30th may. Your matches will be displayed on the EMS VI page shortly, we still have to finish one delayed match tonight to determine who is ranked first and second in group c.

In addition we decided to gather feedback now about the future usage of dod_salerno or dod_salerno_comp. Every team has one vote on behalf of all of their players to determine which map will be used for the next stages. Please send one representative with access to the invite player board and reply with what you want to play in the future.

Today we can announce the news that the team formerly known as infinitus have moved to a new home under the guidance of Casca and killerpi.

The team is currently playing in this seasons EMS and have got there first victory under there belt beating german side pod in their first game, and then suffering a setback in game 2 with a defeat to french side sexygamers. Qualification now rests on the unenviable task of beating top uk side and 1 of the tournament favourites clutchmasterz.

We caught up with Casca organisation founder killerpi and also with team captain RicKaaa to find out more information on the teams move and their future aspitrations.



Patrik “killerpi” Andmarken statement:

"When the other casca went inactive in dod:s myself and lorious talked about picking up another dods team. It felt natural for me to ask infinitus because i have known aKaaa for a really long time and he has helped me alot with casca, aswell as in the beginning when i started the organisation as he also played here.

It felt like a natural move to ask them to join us as i have also known the Team Captain RicKaaa for a long time aswell and i knew that they were a stable team with a strong lineup. Although the teams strength was not important to me i am happy they have joined and I am looking forward to supporting them anyway i can

"We really werent expecting this offer when it came to us, it really was out of the blue. In saying that though when killerpi approached me and said they were interested in picking us up and made us an offer it turned out to be too good to turn down, so after discussing it with everyone in the team we were happy to accept it and move to Casca.

I have known killerpi for quite some time and i have always known him to be a top guy, so we were happy to join forces with him. It does sadden us a little to be moving on from a UK organisation but with the support killerpi is offering us it is going to help the team in the long run. Now it is all about doing as well as we can during the rest of the EMS campaign and despite a setback in match 2 versus sexygamers we are looking onwards and upwards rather than being disappointed. We shall be entering as many competitions as possible and attending zP lan2 is now a distinct possibility."
